QC/T 892-2011 is the English-translated version of 塑料件用开口型平圆头抽芯铆钉.

The recommended Chinese automotive industry standard QC/T 892-2011 covers open end blind rivets with a break pull mandrel and a protruding head, used on plastic parts.

It gives the types and dimensions of these rivets together with the technical conditions they must meet. Only two shank diameters fall within its scope, d = 4.0 mm and d = 4.8 mm, with lengths l from 8.5 mm to 17.5 mm.

It is applied with GB/T 90.1, GB/T 90.2, QC/T 326 and QC/T 625, which cover acceptance inspection and the surface and quality conditions of vehicle fasteners. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
