QC/T 890-2011 is the English-translated version of D型通孔式嵌装塑料螺母.
QC/T 890-2011 is the Chinese automotive industry recommended standard for type D plastic nuts fitted into a through hole. It sets the types and dimensions of these nuts and the technical conditions they have to satisfy.
Its scope is the type D through-hole plastic nut mating with tapping screw threads from NST4.5 to NST7. Three documents are cited with it, QC/T 326, QC/T 618 and QC/T 713, covering respectively the general conditions for vehicle fasteners, their inspection and their plastic material provisions. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
