QC/T 79.2-2008 is the English-translated version of 道路车辆 牵引车和挂车之间气制动连接用螺旋管总成 第2部分：性能要求.
QC/T 79.2-2008 is the second part of the Chinese automotive industry standard on coiled tube assemblies for the air brake connection between a towing vehicle and the vehicle it tows, and it carries the performance requirements.
It states the minimum performance to be met by the assembly as a whole, that is by the coiled tube together with the couplings fitted at its ends. It applies to coiled assemblies connecting tractor and trailer in vehicle air braking systems, and not to other pipework of the braking system.
Drawn up as a non-equivalent adoption of ISO 7375-2:1998, it quotes GB/T 13881-1992, QC/T 79.1 and QC/T 80. It replaces QC/T 79-1993. Issued on 4 June 2008, it has applied since 1 November 2008.
