Scope

QC/T 77-2015 is the English-translated version of 汽车液压制动轮缸技术要求及台架试验方法.

It is written for wheel cylinders that work with non-petroleum-based brake fluid. The brake fluid and the pressure test references come from GB 12981 and GB/T 7762-2003.

QC/T 77-2015 was issued by MIIT on 14 July 2015.

It replaces the earlier edition QC/T 77-1993.

2 Scope

QC/T 77-2015 is the Chinese automotive industry standard for hydraulic brake wheel cylinders. It covers the classification of the product, the performance requirements, the test equipment, the test conditions and the bench test methods for the hydraulic drum brake wheel cylinder assembly. It is written for wheel cylinders that work with non-petroleum-based brake fluid. The brake fluid and the pressure test references come from GB 12981 and GB/T 7762-2003. The standard replaces QC/T 77-1993 and carries the classification T24 in the Chinese scheme and 43.040.40 in the international one. Issued on 14 July 2015, it has applied since 1 January 2016.
