1 Foreword

QC/T 602-1999 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 5 November 1999 and has been in force since 1 July 2000.

2 Scope

The cross recessed large pan head tapping screw is the subject of QC/T 602-1999, a recommended standard of the Chinese automobile industry. It specifies these screws in the size range ST2.9 to ST6.3, as used in vehicle assembly. Like the rest of the automotive fastener family it is classified T31 in the Chinese system.
