Scope
QC/T 47-2013 is the English-translated version of 汽车座椅术语.
QC/T 47-2013 is the terminology standard of the Chinese automotive industry for automobile seats. Rather than fixing requirements, it collects the terms used for seats and gives their definitions, so that design, purchasing and testing documents use the same vocabulary.
The terms are written for the seats of category M1 vehicles as defined in GB/T 15089-2001, and they may also be extended to seats in trucks and buses. It quotes GB/T 15089-2001.
This edition supersedes QC/T 47-1992. Issued on 25 April 2013, it has applied since 1 September 2013.
