QC/T 208-2007 is the English-translated version of 汽车用温度报警器.
QC/T 208-2007 is the recommended Chinese automotive industry standard for temperature alarms fitted to motor vehicles. It classifies these alarms and then sets the requirements they must satisfy, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, storage and safekeeping.
It applies to temperature alarms used on cars. The standard quotes GB 65, GB 822, GB 1414, GB 1415, GB/T 2828.1, GB/T 12716, QC/T 727-2007, QC/T 625 and parts 3, 4 and 5 of QC/T 417.
It supersedes QC/T 208-1996. Issued on 14 November 2007, it has applied since 1 May 2008.
