Scope
QC/T 1067.2-2017 is the English-translated version of 汽车电线束和电气设备用连接器 第2部分：插头端子的型式和尺寸.
QC/T 1067.2-2017 gives the types and dimensions of slice and cylindrical male terminals and applies to the single and multi-wire connectors of automotive wiring harnesses and electrical equipment.
Clause 3 takes its terms and definitions from QC/T 1067.1-2017, its one normative reference.
Clause 4 fixes each family by drawing and table: Type A slice male terminals to Figure 1 and Table 1 and high voltage connector male terminals to Figures 1, 2 and 3, the clause on Type B slice male terminals being cut short by the preview, with any detail left unspecified determined by the producer.
The foreword records the revision behind it: three documents merged into one named after the male terminal, their clause 5 of special performance requirements and clause 6 of notes deleted, Annex A of QC/T 417.3 and the 3 × 0.64 plug specifications of QC/T 417.4 dropped, and Figure 1 of QC/T 417.4 redrawn without the continuous reinforcement structure.
It refers to ISO 8092.1, ISO 8092.3 and ISO 8092.4. Issued by MIIT on 9 January 2017, it replaces QC/T 417.3-2001 and has applied since 1 July 2017.

QC/T 417-2001 "Road vehicles - connections for on-board electrical wiring harnesses" consists of 5 parts.
- Part 1: Definitions, Test Methods and General Performance Requirements (the Automobile Part);
- Part 2: Test Methods and General Performance Requirements (Motorcycle Part);
- Part 3: Taps for Single-pole Connections- Dimensions and Specific Requirements;
- Part 4: Tabs for Multi-pole Connections - Dimensions and Specific Requirements;
- Part 5: Column Tabs for Single- and Multi-pole Connections - Dimensions and Specific Requirements. This Standard is Part 2 of QC/T 417-2001.
This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009 "Directives for standardization - Part 1: Structure and drafting of standards".
This Standard is a revision of QC/T 417.3-2001 "Road Vehicles - Connections for On-board Electrical Wiring Harnesses- Part 3: Taps for Single-pole Connections - Dimensions and Specific Requirements", QC/T 417.4-2001 "Road Vehicles - Connections for on-board Electrical Wiring Harnesses - Part 4: Tabs for Multi-pole Connections - Dimensions and Specific Requirements",
QC/T 417.5-2001 "Road vehicles - connections for on-board electrical wiring harnesses - Part 5 Column Tabs for Single- and Multi-pole Connections - Dimensions and Specific Requirements". Compared with QC/T 417.3.4.5-2001, the main changes in this Standard are as follows.
- combined QC/T 417.3 2001, QC/T 417.4-2001, QC/T 417.5-2001 into one standard with a name as "Type and dimension of the male terminal";
- deleted "5 Special performance requirements" and "6 Notes" in QC/T 417.3 2001, QC/T 417.4-2001, QC/T 417.5-2001;
- deleted Annex A in QC/T 417.3;
- deleted "3×0.64" plug specifications in QC/T 417.4;
- modified Figure 1 in QC/T 417.4, deleted continuous reinforcement structure. This Standard referred to ISO 8092.1, ISO 8092.3, ISO 8092.4. This Standard does not involve patents.
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the types and dimensions of slice and cylindrical male terminals.
This Standard is applicable to the single and multi-wire connectors in automotive wiring harnesses and electrical equipment.
