QB/T 5476.9-2026 is Part 9 of the series on fruit wine and covers cider, the alcoholic drink made from apples. It is a product standard that treats cider as one specific kind of fruit wine, in the same way that other parts of the series treat other fruits. The document keeps to this single product and to the subject given in its title, and it leaves wines made from other fruits to the other parts of the series.

Cider producers, beverage companies, importers and distributors, buyers and testing laboratories would use it. The standard is voluntary, as the /T in the code shows. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 13 February 2026, and it takes effect on 1 September 2026. It is a new document and does not replace an earlier edition.
