Scope
QB/T 4762-2026 is the English-translated version of 铅酸蓄电池用涂板纸.
QB/T 4762-2026 concerns pasting paper for lead-acid batteries, the paper used in making the plates of lead-acid storage batteries. It is a product standard, so it deals with this paper as a material that is supplied to battery makers. The document covers the paper named in its title and does not go beyond that material. Lead-acid batteries are the rechargeable batteries widely used for vehicle starting and stand-by power, and the paper is one of the components used in the production of their plates.
Paper mills producing this grade, lead-acid battery manufacturers who purchase it, and laboratories that examine it would use the standard. It is voluntary, as shown by the /T in the code. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it on 13 February 2026, and it takes effect on 1 September 2026. It replaces QB/T 4762-2014.
