Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard is a revision of QB/T 4552-2013 "Slippers".

Compared with QB/T 4552-2013, in addition to editorial changes, the main

technical differences between this standard and QB/T 4552-2013 are as follows.

- MODIFY the requirements of sensory quality (see 5.2; 5.2 of the 2013

edition);

- MODIFY the requirements and test methods of the pull-out force of the

band (see 5.3.2 and 7.3; 5.3.2 and 7.3 of the 2013 edition);

- MODIFY the requirements and test methods for the abrasion resistance of

the outsole (see 5.3.3 and 7.4; 5.3.3 and 7.4 of the 2013 edition);

- ADD the requirements and test methods for the anti-skid performance of

the outsole (see 5.3.4 and 7.5)

- ADD the requirements and test methods for the color fastness to rubbing of

linings and insock (see 5.3.5 and 7.6);

- MODIFY the requirements and test methods for free or partially

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 2703, as well as the following

terms and definitions, apply to this document.

3.1

Infant's slippers

Slippers, which have a size not greater than 170, for infants and young

children 3 years old and below.

4 Product classification

4.1 It is divided into the following 5 categories, according to the upper surface

materials.

4.2 It is divided into the following 3 categories, according to the wearing object.

5 Requirements

5.1 General requirements

5.1.1 The safety indicators of infant's slippers and children's slippers shall meet

the requirements of GB 30585.

5.2 Sensory quality

The sensory quality shall meet the requirements of 5.2 in GB/T 36975-2018.

5.3 Physical and mechanical properties (except for infant's slippers)

5.3.1 Peeling strength of upper sole
5.3.2.4 The pull-out force of the upper band of slippers, which are made through

the process of cold bonding, sewing, glue-sealing, shall not be less than 80 N.

The pull-out force of the upper band of slippers, which are made through the

assembly process such as rivets, shall not be less than 50 N.

5.3.2.5 If the material is torn AND the band is not pulled out at the bonding part

of the upper sole, the pull-out strength of the upper band shall not be less than

30 N/cm.

5.3.3 Wear resistance of outsole
5.3.5 Color fastness to rubbing of lining and insock
5.3.5.1 For slippers, whose lining and insock are made of textiles, leather, fur,

artificial leather, synthetic leather, they shall be tested for the color fastness to

rubbing of the lining and insock.

5.3.5.2 The wet rubbing staining grade of suede leather shall not be less than

level 2.The wet rubbing staining level of leather, textiles, fur, artificial wool, other

materials shall not be less than level 3.

5.4 Odor

The odor level shall not be greater than level 3.

5.5 Limits of hazardous substances

5.5.1 Content of decomposable harmful aromatic amine dye

It shall meet the requirements of Table 1.Under reducing conditions, see

Appendix A for the list of harmful aromatic amine dyes, which shall not be

decomposed from the dye.

6 After-sales quality judgment

See Appendix B.

7 Test method

7.1 Sensory quality

Carry out test according to GB/T 3903.5-2011.

7.2 Peeling strength of upper sole

7.2.1 Carry out the inspection, according to GB/T 3903.3-2011.The width of

knife edge is (10 ± 0.2) mm. The testing part is the front tip part.

7.4 Wear resistance of outsole

Carry out the test according to GB/T 3903.2-2017.When testing the surface of

the microporous material outsole, the surface is not polished. If the sample does

not meet the test requirements (such as the vibration of the grinding wheel

during the test), it may be exempted from the test. If the flat part of the solid

material outsole does not meet the test area requirements, it shall be polished

before the test.

7.6 Color fastness to rubbing of lining and insock

7.6.1 Take the same material of the lining and the insock as the specimen. If

there is no lining, the contact surface between the upper surface and the foot is

used as a specimen for inspection. If the specimen area does not meet the

sampling requirements, it may take sample from the same batch of materials,

for inspection.

7.6.2 In accordance with the method A of QB/T 2882-2007, wet wipe 50 times

for inspection. The gray scale shall meet the requirements in GB/T 251-2008.

7.7 Peculiar smell

7.7.1 Test equipment

When the shoe size is 200 and below, the diameter of the test dryer is 240 mm.

When the shoe size is larger than 200, the diameter of the test dryer is 300 mm.

7.7.5 Test procedure
7.7.5.1 Clean and dry the dryer, to make it tasteless. Spread petroleum jelly

evenly, on the edge of the dryer cover.

7.8 Content of decomposable harmful aromatic amine dye

7.8.1 Different materials shall be tested separately. If the upper surface and the

lining cannot be separated, they shall be tested together. The testing method is

the same as that of the lining.

7.8.2 Textiles shall be tested, according to GB/T 17592-2011; when aniline

and/or 1,4-phenylenediamine are detected, they shall be tested, according to

GB/T 23344-2009.Leather and fur shall be tested, according to GB/T 19942-

2019; when aniline and/or 1,4-phenylenediamine are detected, it shall be tested,

according to GB/T 33392-2016.

7.9 Content of free or partially hydrolyzable formaldehyde

8 Inspection items and qualification judgment

8.1 Inspection items

It shall meet the requirements of Table 4.

9 Inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage

It shall meet the requirements of QB/T 1187.
