QB/T 2790-2026 is a test method standard for the colour fastness of fur to rubbing. It deals with how the resistance of the colour of fur to rubbing is tested, giving laboratories and users of fur a common way to assess this property. It is not a product specification and does not set requirements for any particular kind of fur. The document is meant to give buyers and sellers one shared reference, so that a supply agreement or a quality check can point to a single published text instead of to each party's own practice.

Fur processors and dyers, garment and accessory manufacturers, testing laboratories, traders and buyers can use it when examining fur and comparing results. It is a voluntary industry standard (code with /T), approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It was issued on 13 February 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It replaces QB/T 2790-2006.
