QB/T 2741-2026 is the English-translated version of 学生公寓多功能家具.

QB/T 2741-2026 is the industry standard for multi-functional furniture for student apartments, that is, furniture designed for the living quarters of students that combines more than one function in a single product. It deals with this one category of furniture and gives the technical basis on which it is made, supplied and judged. Other furniture is outside its title.

Furniture manufacturers, schools and universities that equip accommodation, project buyers, testing and inspection bodies and distributors can use it when agreeing on the quality of such furniture. It is a voluntary industry standard (code with /T), approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It was issued on 13 February 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It replaces QB/T 2741-2013.
