Scope
QB/T 2274-2026 is the English-translated version of 电光源产品的分类和型号命名方法.
QB/T 2274-2026 sets out the categories and the type designation system for electric light sources, that is, for lamps. It deals with how lamp products are grouped into categories and how each type is given a designation, so that manufacturers, sellers and buyers describe the same product in the same way. It is a basic standard on naming and classification and is not a product specification.
Lamp manufacturers, product designers, distributors, buyers, and compilers of catalogues and other documents that refer to lamp types can use it as a shared reference for classification and naming. It is a voluntary industry standard (code with /T), approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It was issued on 13 February 2026 and takes effect on 1 September 2026. It replaces QB/T 2274-2013.
