NB/T 51016-2014 is the recommended Chinese energy industry standard for the filters fitted to powered supports in coal mines. It defines the terms used for these filters, classifies them, states the requirements, and gives the test methods and inspection rules by which they are judged.

Marking, packaging and storage are dealt with at the end. The filters in question serve the emulsion that drives coal mine hydraulic supports. Among the standards it cites are GB 3836.1, MT 76, MT/T 154.1 and MT/T 986, the filtration standards GB/T 18853, GB/T 18854, GB/T 20079-2006 and GB/T 20080-2006, and GB/T 2829-2002. Issued on 15 October 2014, it has applied since 1 March 2015.
