1 Foreword

NB/T 41004-2014 was issued by National Energy Administration of the People's Republic of China on 18 March 2014 and has been in force since 1 August 2014.

2 Scope

The classification of power quality phenomena is what NB/T 41004-2014, a recommended Chinese energy industry standard, sets out. It deals with the power quality of the power system and of the equipment connected to it, and it sorts the phenomena that arise into classes so that they can be named consistently. Its provisions are written for systems whose nominal frequency is 50 Hz. The standard carries the classification K04 and the international code 29.020. The classes rest on the existing measurement standards GB/T 12325-2008, GB/T 12326-2008, GB/T 14549-1993, GB/T 15543-2008, GB/T 15945-2008 and GB/T 24337-2009.
