Scope
NB/T 34014-2013 is the English-translated version of 生物质炊事大灶试验方法.
NB/T 34014-2013 sets out the test methods for biomass institutional stoves, and it is a recommended standard of the Chinese energy industry. It specifies how the thermal performance of such a cooking stove is measured and how its flue gas emissions are tested.
It applies to cooking stoves with a fire intensity above 10 kW burning raw biomass material or moulded biomass fuel. Classified F13 in China and 19.020 internationally, it belongs with the rural energy documents of the National Energy Administration.
The testing draws on GB 13271, GB/T 16157, HJ/T 42, HJ/T 43, HJ/T 44, HJ/T 56, HJ/T 57, HJ/T 398, NB/T 34015-2013 and NY/T 12. Issued on 28 November 2013, it has applied since 1 April 2014.
