The impeller of the concrete volute circulating water pump used in a nuclear power plant is the subject of NB/T 25074-2017, a recommended energy industry standard.

It lays down the technical requirements and the test methods that apply to the design and the manufacture of that impeller, for coastal plants where the pump handles seawater.

Impellers of other similar pump forms may be designed and made with reference to it. The standard carries the Chinese classification P64 and the international classification 27.120.99.
