Feedwater heaters are handled by NB/T 25016.6-2013, part 6 of the Chinese recommended series on conventional island equipment supervision in nuclear power plants.

The standard sets the requirements for supervising the manufacturing process of the feedwater heater equipment of the conventional island, and that same manufacture is its field of application.

Like the other parts it works on top of NB/T 25016.1, which carries the general rules, and it also cites DL/T 893-2004. It belongs to the energy industry standards of China and was issued by the National Energy Administration. Issued on 8 June 2013, it has applied since 1 October 2013.
