Scope

NB/T 20342-2015 is the English-translated version of 核电厂安全重要仪表和控制系统执行A类功能系统中的数据通信.

NB/T 20342-2015 is the Chinese energy industry standard, recommended in status, that sets the requirements for data communication in systems performing category A functions within instrumentation and control important to safety in nuclear power plants.

It also fixes the interface requirements between the equipment carrying that data communication and other systems, including those performing category B, category C and non-safety functions.

It governs communication inside plant instrumentation and control systems, and leaves out telephone, wireless, voice, fax, electronic mail and cable broadcasting links, the detailed internal operation and technical specification of the communication equipment, the internal connections between processor unit, memory and control logic, and the internals of process computer systems.

It quotes GB/T 9387.1, GB/T 20438 and NB/T 20298-2014, and it replaces EJ/T 1223-2007. Issued on 2 April 2015, it has applied since 1 September 2015.
