NB/T 20327.1-2015 is the Chinese energy industry standard for the design of special doors in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, and it forms Part 1 of the NB/T 20327 series.

It lays down the basic design requirements for the main protective doors of such plants: biological shielding screen doors, airtight doors, watertight doors and tornado doors.

Plants built on other reactor types may follow it as a reference. Nuclear safety doors, and personnel or equipment air locks and gates of that kind, fall outside its scope.

It quotes GB/T 699, GB/T 700, GB 12955, GB 50009, GB 50017, GB 50661, EJ/T 420 and NB/T 20133.1. Issued on 2 April 2015, it has applied since 1 September 2015.
