NB/T 20310-2014 is the English-translated version of 压水堆核电厂最终热阱构筑物设计要求.

NB/T 20310-2014 is the recommended Chinese energy industry standard setting design requirements for the structures of the ultimate heat sink at pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.

It states the general design requirements for those structures, so that the ultimate heat sink performs its intended function safely, reliably and effectively. It carries the Chinese classification F65 and the international classification 27.120.20.

It draws on a broad set of civil and hydraulic documents, among them GB 50007, GB 50010-2010, GB 50011, GB 50267, DL 5077, SL 191-2008 and the regulatory guides HAD 102/01 and HAD 102/05. Issued on 29 June 2014, it has applied since 1 November 2014.
