NB/T 20230-2013 is the English-translated version of 压水堆冷却剂压力边界材料断裂韧性要求.
NB/T 20230-2013 is the recommended Chinese energy industry standard that sets fracture toughness requirements for the materials used in the coolant pressure boundary of a pressurized water reactor.
It covers the requirements for fracture toughness testing of those materials and the minimum fracture toughness they have to show. Its field is the coolant pressure boundary of PWR plants, under Chinese classification F69 and international classification 27.120.10.
GB/T 229, GB/T 6803 and NB/T 20220 are cited in the text. The standard supersedes the earlier EJ/T 721-1992. Issued on 8 June 2013, it has applied since 1 October 2013.
