Scope
NB/T 20226-2013 is the English-translated version of 核电厂安全级变压器鉴定.
NB/T 20226-2013 is the recommended Chinese energy industry standard for the qualification of class 1E, that is safety class, transformers used in nuclear power plants.
It addresses how a transformer intended for a safety duty is shown fit for that duty, and it sits in the electrical group of the nuclear plant standards under Chinese class F69 and international class 27.120.20.
The National Energy Administration issued it in the same 2013 batch as the other nuclear equipment qualification documents of the series.
It draws on GB 1094.1-1996, GB 1094.5-2008, GB 1094.7-2008 and GB 1094.11-2007, on GB/T 2900.15-1997, GB/T 12727-2002, GB/T 13625-1992, NB/T 20040-2011 and JB/T 501-2006, and on IEC and IEEE documents including IEEE C57.100-2011. Issued on 8 June 2013, it has applied since 1 October 2013.
