NB/T 20104-2012 is the Chinese energy industry standard, recommended in status, that sets the analysis requirements for anticipated transients without scram in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.

It lays down the criteria to be met, the analytical methods regarded as acceptable and the assumptions to be followed when such a transient is studied. Its field of application is the analysis of anticipated transients in which the emergency shutdown of the reactor does not take place.

The work is carried out alongside NB/T 20035, NB/T 20103 and EJ/T 562. The standard replaces the earlier EJ/T 779-1993. Issued on 6 January 2012, it has applied since 6 April 2012.
