Scope
NB/T 20027-2010 is the English-translated version of 核电厂主控制室报警功能与显示.
Alarm functions and their presentation in the main control room of a nuclear power plant are the subject of NB/T 20027-2010, a recommended Chinese energy industry standard identical in content to IEC 62241-2004.
It establishes the basic principles for the functional design of the main control room alarm system, and is applied to the design of both the alarm functions and the way alarms are presented to the operator.
Fire alarm systems, specific dedicated alarm systems and security alarm systems are outside its scope. It quotes IEC 60986-1989, IEC 61226, IEC 61771, IEC 61772 and IEC 61839. Issued on 1 May 2010, it has applied since 1 October 2010.
