Scope
NB/T 20005.35-2017 is the English-translated version of 压水堆核电厂用碳钢和低合金钢 第35部分：控制棒驱动机构用碳钢钢管.
Part 35 of the NB/T 20005 series, NB/T 20005.35-2017, deals with carbon steel tube for the control rod drive mechanism of pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants.
It states the manufacturing, inspection and acceptance requirements for seamless tube in grade 10 or grade 25 carbon steel, the magnetically permeable material used in that mechanism.
Where other parts of the series take different products, this one is confined to that tube. Chemical, mechanical and metallographic testing are referred to GB/T 223, GB/T 228.1, GB/T 230.1, GB/T 4336, GB/T 6394 and GB/T 10561, with GB/T 13012, GB/T 20066 and GB/T 20123 also quoted. Issued on 10 February 2017, it has applied since 1 July 2017.
