NB/T 11627-2024 is the English-translated version of 智慧矿山评价指标体系.
NB/T 11627-2024 provides a Chinese energy industry indicator system for rating how far a smart mine has advanced in intelligent construction.
The indicators are arranged in three levels, with first-level indicators such as digital design, information infrastructure and transparent geology broken down into second- and third-level indicators that describe specific smart mine features.
Separate indicator systems are given for underground and open-pit coal mines, and a further clause sets out the evaluation methods. It is intended for evaluating coal mines both under construction and in production. Issued on 24 September 2024, it has applied since 24 March 2025.

4 Indicator system
4.1 Description of the indicator system
4.1.1 The indicator system consists of primary indicators, secondary indicators and tertiary indicators.
4.1.2 The indicators at each level are in a total-score relationship, that is, the specific evaluation scope of the first-level indicator is composed of the second-level indicators below it; the specific evaluation scope of the second-level indicator is composed of the second-level indicators below it.
The evaluation scope is composed of the three-level indicators below it; indicators at the same level are in parallel relationship.
4.1.3 The first-level indicators are universal and general indicators, including digital design indicators, information basic indicators, transparent geological indicators, The secondary indicators are further detailed under the primary indicators.
The third-level indicators are specific indicators under the second-level indicators that can represent the characteristics of smart mines.
4.1.4 It is divided into the underground coal mine index system and the open-pit coal mine index system.
