NB/T 10524-2021 is the English-translated version of 综采工作面三机配套性能实验测试方法.
NB/T 10524-2021 is the Chinese energy industry test method for checking how well the three main machines of a fully mechanized coal face work together: the drum shearer, the scraper conveyor and the hydraulic supports.
It defines the quantities involved, such as working haulage speed, haulage force, the cable towing system and chain speed, and sets the test conditions, test principles, test procedure and the recording and analysis of results.
Informative annexes explain sensor installation, give matched test diagrams and supply a test report form. The method is applied once the three machines have been selected, to verify how their performance matches in operation. Issued on 7 January 2021, it has applied since 1 April 2021.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the supporting performance of the drum shearer (hereinafter referred to as the shearer), scraper conveyor and hydraulic support in a fully mechanized mining face Test conditions, test principles, test procedures, test records and analysis.
This standard is applicable to the supporting performance test of the equipment after the selection of the three machines.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Working haulage speed
The walking speed of the constant walking force section in the speed regulation characteristics of the shearer walking drive device. [GB/T 35060.1-2018, definition 3.4]
3.2 Haulage force
The force that drives the mining machinery to travel. [GB/T 15663.10-2008, definition 2.7]
3.3 Towing system
A complete set of equipment for dragging cables and water pipes on coal mining machinery.
3.4 Chain speed
The average moving speed of the scraper chain.
