NB/T 10517-2021 fixes the acceptance documentation required for the installation works carried out while building an open pit coal mine in China. A surface mine is commissioned as a chain of fixed plant - the primary and semi-mobile crushing stations, the belt conveyor system that carries coal and waste out of the pit, the dewatering and drainage installations, and the electrical distribution that feeds all of it - and each of those has to be handed over with a record that proves it was installed correctly. The standard defines the terms, the basic requirements on who prepares and who checks each record, and the way the documentation is organised into files and volumes. 1 Scope

This standard is applicable to the compilation of the acceptance data of installation engineering within the excavation area and the dump area of a surface coal mine.

3 General provisions
3.1 Composition of the acceptance data. The acceptance data of surface coal mine equipment installation engineering are composed mainly of four parts: the inspection lot acceptance records of sub-item works, the quality acceptance records of sub-item works, the quality acceptance records of sub-division works, and the quality acceptance records of unit works.
3.2 Inspection lot acceptance record of a sub-item work. The inspection lot quality acceptance record of a sub-item work shall be filled in by the construction unit and confirmed by the supervision unit; the owner, the supervision unit and the construction unit shall carry out the acceptance together.
Inspection lot quality acceptance is divided into dominant items and general items. Dominant items are the inspection items that have a decisive influence on the basic quality of the inspection lot; they shall all be qualified. General items are allowed a certain deviation, but the deviation shall not affect the overall quality of the sub-division work.
3.3 Acceptance record of a sub-item work. The acceptance of a sub-item work shall be carried out after the acceptance of all the inspection lots contained in that sub-item work has been completed. The sub-item work quality acceptance record shall be filled in by the construction unit and confirmed by the supervision unit; the owner, the supervision unit and the construction unit shall carry out the acceptance together.
3.4 Acceptance record of a sub-division work. The acceptance of a sub-division work shall be carried out after the acceptance of all the sub-item works contained in that sub-division work has been completed. The sub-division work quality acceptance record shall be filled in by the construction unit and confirmed by the supervision unit; the owner, the supervision unit and the construction unit shall carry out the acceptance together.
3.5 Acceptance record of a unit work. The acceptance of a unit work shall be carried out after the acceptance of all the sub-division works contained in that unit work has been completed. The unit work quality acceptance record shall be filled in by the construction unit and confirmed by the supervision unit; the owner, the supervision unit and the construction unit shall carry out the acceptance together.
4 Acceptance record forms for the installation of stationary and semi-mobile crusher equipment
4.1.1 The unit work quality acceptance record is the summary table for the completion acceptance of the quality of the unit work; it is used together with the unit work quality control data check record form and the unit work perceptual quality inspection record form.
4.1.2 The unit work quality acceptance record is archive data to be kept permanently by the archive department of the owner and to be kept for a long term by the archive management department of the construction unit.
4.1.3 The front part of the unit work quality acceptance record is filled in by the construction unit, and the acceptance conclusion is filled in by the professional engineer of the supervision (owner) unit. The acceptance conclusion is agreed jointly by all the parties taking part in the acceptance and is filled in by the owner; it gives an evaluation of whether the engineering quality complies with the design and code requirements and of the overall quality level, and may be filled in as acceptance passed, acceptance qualified. When the design unit, the construction unit, the supervision unit and the owner all agree to the acceptance, the person in charge of the (project) of each unit shall sign in person, so as to show responsibility for the engineering quality, and shall affix the official seal of the unit. The unit work quality completion acceptance record form for the installation of stationary and semi-mobile crusher equipment is given in Table 1.

The heading of the form records the name of the unit work, stated as installation of stationary and semi-mobile crusher equipment, together with the quantity of work, the construction unit, the person in charge of technical matters, the date of commencement, the project manager, the person in charge of project technical matters and the date of completion.
Item 1 of Table 1, sub-division works: the acceptance record states the total number of sub-division works, the number of sub-division works checked, and the number of sub-division works complying with the standard and the design requirements; the entry reads two sub-division works in total, two sub-division works checked, and two sub-division works complying with the standard and the design requirements.
Item 2 of Table 1, check of the quality control data: the acceptance record states the total number of items, the number of items found on examination to comply with the requirements, and the number of items confirmed to comply with the requirements of the codes.
Item 3 of Table 1, acceptance of the perceptual quality: the acceptance record states the total number of items sampled, the number of items complying with the requirements and the number of items not complying with the requirements.
Item 4 of Table 1, comprehensive acceptance conclusion: a single entry into which the conclusion agreed by the parties is written.
Table 1 (continued), units taking part in the acceptance: the owner, with the person in charge of the unit (project); the supervision unit, with the chief supervision engineer; the construction unit, with the person in charge of the unit; and the design unit, with the person in charge of the unit (project). Each block carries a signature and seal and the year, month and day.
Requirements for filling in Table 1, item 1, the heading: sub-item 1) the name of the work and the name of the construction unit shall be written in full and shall be identical with those in the quality acceptance forms of the sub-division works and the sub-item works; sub-item 2) the person in charge of technical matters means the chief engineer or the deputy manager of the construction enterprise in charge of technical work.
Requirements for filling in Table 1, item 2, sub-division works: the construction unit fills in the acceptance record column; it states how many sub-division works there are in total, how many have been accepted, and how many have been accepted as complying with the standard and the design requirements. When all the sub-division works examined and accepted comply with the requirements, the professional engineer of the supervision unit writes the conclusion acceptance qualified in the acceptance conclusion column.
Requirements for filling in Table 1, item 3, comprehensive acceptance conclusion: it is determined jointly by all the parties taking part in the acceptance and is filled in by the owner; it may be filled in as acceptance passed.
4.2.1 The sub-division work quality acceptance summary record form is the summary table for the completion acceptance of the quality of the sub-item works.
4.2.2 The sub-division work quality completion acceptance summary record form shall be filled in by the construction unit; the comprehensive acceptance conclusion shall be determined jointly by all the parties taking part in the acceptance and shall then be filled in by the owner; the person in charge of each participating unit shall sign and the official seal of the unit shall be affixed. The sub-division work quality completion acceptance summary record form is given in Table 2.

The heading records the name of the unit work, stated as installation of stationary and semi-mobile crusher equipment, and the quantity of work. The body of the form has six numbered lines, each with the name of the sub-item work, the number of inspection lots, the result of the check and evaluation by the construction unit, and the acceptance opinion. The form ends with the inspection conclusion of the construction unit, signed by the project manager with the year, month and day, and the comprehensive verification conclusion, signed by the chief supervision engineer (representative of the owner) with the year, month and day.
4.3.1 The quality acceptance of a sub-item work shall be organized by the supervision engineer (the professional technical person in charge of the project of the owner), who shall arrange for the professional technical persons in charge of the project and others to carry out the acceptance and to record it in the form. The sub-item work quality acceptance record form is given in Table 3.
4.3.2 Provisions for filling in the sub-item work quality acceptance record. The following points shall be observed in the quality acceptance of a sub-item work.
4.3.2 a) Check whether the inspection lots cover the whole work, whether any part has been omitted, and whether all the inspection lots contained have been accepted as qualified.
4.3.2 b) Register and arrange the data of the inspection lots in sequence; the acceptance records of the inspection lots shall be complete.
4.3.3 The main inspection items of the inspection lot quality acceptance record forms of the sub-item works shall be filled in according to the contents of the dominant items and the general items for the installation of stationary and semi-mobile crushers given in Clause 5 of NB/T 10515-2021.

The body has ten numbered lines, each with the part or section of the inspection lot, the acceptance result of the construction unit and the acceptance conclusion of the supervision (owner) unit, followed by three blank lines. The form ends with the inspection and acceptance result of the subcontracting unit and the inspection and acceptance result of the construction unit, each signed by the professional technical person in charge of the project with the year, month and day, and with the acceptance result of the supervision (owner) unit, signed by the supervision engineer (the professional technical person in charge of the project of the owner) with the year, month and day.
4.4 Inspection lot quality acceptance record of a sub-item work. The quality of the dominant items shall be inspected at selected points, and all the inspection points shall comply with the qualified quality provisions; where 75 percent or more of the measuring points among the inspection points comply with the qualified quality provisions, the remaining measuring points shall not affect safe use.
The quality of the general items shall be inspected at selected points; the pass rate of the measuring points of each inspection item shall reach 70 percent or more, and the remaining measuring points shall not affect safe use.
When the dominant items reach 75 percent or more and the general items reach 70 percent or more, the acceptance conclusion of the supervision (owner) unit shall be filled in as acceptance qualified. The inspection lot construction quality acceptance records of the individual sub-item works are given in Table 4 to Table 19.

Table 4, dominant item 1: the strength of the equipment foundation shall comply with the requirements of the design technical documents.
Table 4, dominant item 2: before the equipment is set in place, a layout drawing of the centre line plates and the elevation datum points shall be prepared according to the construction drawing and the survey control network; the centre line plates and the elevation datum points shall be set out according to the layout drawing and shall be marked by survey. Permanent centre line plates and elevation datum points shall be embedded for the main equipment and for continuous production lines.
Table 4, dominant item 3: the specification and the tightening of the anchor bolts shall comply with the requirements of the design documents.
Table 4, dominant item 4: where the shims are placed by the pressure grouting method, the temporary shims shall be removed after the grouting layer has reached 75 percent of the specified strength, and the final alignment and levelling of the mechanical equipment shall then be carried out.
Table 4, dominant item 5: the preparation, the performance and the curing of the grout used for the reserved anchor bolt holes or between the base of the mechanical equipment and the foundation shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB 50119 and JGJ 55.
Table 4, dominant item 6: before the reserved holes are grouted, fine aggregate concrete should be used; its strength shall be the same as, or higher than, the strength of the foundation concrete. The grout shall be tamped compactly during grouting, so that the anchor bolts are not made to incline and the accuracy of the equipment installation is not affected.
Table 4, dominant item 7: the thickness of the grouting layer shall not be less than 20 mm. Where the requirement for contact between the grouting layer and the equipment base is high, non-shrink concrete should be used.
Table 4 (continued), general item 1: the axis position, the elevation and the dimensions of the equipment foundation shall comply with the requirements of the design documents and with the relevant provisions of GB 50231.
Table 4 (continued), general item 2: oil stains, rubble, mud, accumulated water and sundries on the surface of the equipment foundation and in the reserved holes of the anchor bolts shall all be cleaned away, and the threads and the nuts of the embedded anchor bolts shall be well protected.
Table 4 (continued), general item 3: oil stains and oxide scale on the anchor bolts shall be cleaned away, and a suitable amount of grease shall be applied to the threaded part.
Table 4 (continued), general item 4: the anchor bolts in the reserved holes shall be installed vertically; the distance from any part of a bolt to the wall of the hole shall not be less than 15 mm, and the bolt shall not touch the bottom of the hole.
Table 4 (continued), general item 5: after the nuts of the anchor bolts have been tightened, the exposed length of the bolt should be one to five thread pitches, and the exposed lengths shall be consistent with one another.
Table 4 (continued), general item 6: the nuts shall be tightened only after the concrete in the reserved holes has reached 75 percent or more of the design strength, and the tightening force applied to each nut shall be uniform.
Table 4 (continued), general item 7: after grouting, the part of the anchor bolts projecting above the foundation shall be vertical; after the equipment base has been fitted over the anchor bolts there shall be an allowance for adjustment, and none of the anchor bolts shall be jammed.

Table 5, dominant item 1: the installation of the apron feeder shall comply with the provisions for apron conveying equipment given in Clause 4 of GB 50270-2010.
Table 5, general item 1: the engineering design documents and the technical documents supplied with the machine shall be complete, including the quality acceptance reports and the material analysis reports of key parts such as the chain; the installation positions of the parts and the quality of the wheel bodies shall be consistent with the requirements of the drawings.
Table 5, general item 2: the name, the model, the specification and the quantity of the equipment and the materials shall agree with the equipment packing list, and product certificates of conformity shall be available.
Table 5, general item 3: the equipment shall be free from deformation, damage and corrosion.
Table 5, general item 4: the steel structural members shall have the specified weld inspection records, pre-assembly inspection records and quality certification documents.
Table 5, general item 5: before the equipment is set in place, the as-measured data of the foundation and of the supporting building structure shall be verified against the engineering design construction drawing; the longitudinal and transverse centre lines and the datum elevation of the main apron feeder equipment shall be determined and shall be taken as the datum for the installation of the equipment.
Table 6, Inspection lot construction quality acceptance record for the sub-item work of rail-mounted double toothed roll crusher installation. The heading records the unit work, stated as installation of stationary and semi-mobile crusher equipment, the sub-division work, stated as mechanical installation, and the sub-item work, stated as rail-mounted double toothed roll crusher installation, together with the same administrative entries as the preceding forms.
Table 6, dominant item 1: the levelness of the longitudinal and transverse axes of the two rolls of the machine body shall be less than 0.02 percent.
Table 6, dominant item 2, first permissible deviation for the installation of the double toothed roll crusher: longitudinal centre line, not more than 10 mm.
Table 6, dominant item 2, second permissible deviation: transverse centre line, not more than 10 mm.

Table 6, dominant item 2, fourth permissible deviation: out-of-level of the toothed rolls, not more than 0.015 percent.
Table 6, general item 1: when the rail-mounted double toothed roll crusher is installed, the chassis of the crusher shall be mounted on the track, the rollers shall be in good contact with the rail surface, and the machine body and the chassis shall be connected as required by the product technical documents.
Table 6, general item 2: where the rail-mounted double toothed roll crusher is used in a fixed position, the rail clamps shall be clamped firmly.
