Scope
NB/T 10191-2019 is the English-translated version of 继电保护光纤回路标识编制方法.
NB/T 10191-2019 sets out, for Chinese energy industry use, how to compile the identification labels of relay protection optical fibre circuits in substations and power plants.
It defines Class I fibres running directly between devices, Class II fibres ending at a distribution box or terminal, Class III fibres between distribution frames, spare fibres and the related optical cables, and states which of them need labels at both ends.
Each fibre label carries function information, with local and remote device codes and a function code, above path information giving the optical port codes and cable numbers, in formats shown for every fibre class.
Cable and distribution box labels are also covered. Designers, installers and maintenance staff apply it, and safety automatic devices may follow it for reference. It was issued on 4 June 2019 and has applied since 1 October 2019.
