NB/T 10029-2016 is the Chinese energy industry standard giving the design code for coalbed methane gathering and transportation systems. It sets the design requirements for the gathering and transportation works themselves and for the instrumentation and control, the power supply and distribution and the water treatment that serve them.

The code is written for the design of new or expanded surface gathering and transportation projects at coalbed methane fields produced by surface drilling with drainage and desorption.

Its Chinese classification is E10 and E19 and its international classification 75.020. It works alongside GB 3838, GB 8978, GB/T 9711, GB 17820, GB 50183, GB 50251 and GB/T 20438. Issued on 5 December 2016, it has applied since 1 May 2017.
