LY/T 2282-2014China Forest Certification Chain of Custody Certification Operation Guide (English PDF)

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.

This document replaces LY/T 2282-2014 "Operational Guidelines for the Chain of Custody of China's Forest Certification Production and Marketing", and is consistent with LY/T 2282-2014 in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- Increased the "management system establishment and operation" guidance (see Chapter 5);

--- Deleted the guidance on "pre-assessment stage (when applicable)" (see 4.2 of the 2014 edition);

--- Increased the guidance on "information communication after obtaining the certification certificate" (see 6.11);

---Changed the content of "Implementation Key Points of Chain of Custody" (see Chapter 8, Chapter 5 of the 2014 edition);

--- Added guidance on "China Forest Certification Label" (see 8.8);

--- Changed the informative appendix, and merged Appendix B and Appendix C (see Appendix B, Appendix B and Appendix C of the 2014 edition).

This document was proposed by the Science and Technology Development Center of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration.

This document is under the jurisdiction of the National Standardization Technical Committee on Sustainable Forest Management and Forest Certification (SAC/TC360).

1 Scope

This document provides guidelines for the initiation of chain of custody certification, the establishment and operation of the management system, the implementation of audits, and the application and use of certification marks.

This document is suitable for enterprises to carry out chain of custody certification, and can also be used for consulting or training on chain of custody certification.

2 Normative references

The contents of the following documents constitute the essential provisions of this document through normative references in the text. Among them, dated references for documents, only the version corresponding to the date is applicable to this document; for undated reference documents, the latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to this document.
