Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.

This document replaces LY/T 1979-2011 "Technical Specifications for Material Saving and Emission Reduction in Particleboard Production". Compared with LY/T 1979-2011, except Apart from editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) Changed the scope and expanded the scope of application (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2011 edition);

b) Changed the terms and definitions (see Chapter 3, 3.1, 3.3, 3.4, 3.6, 3.7 of the 2011 edition);

c) Changed the basic principles and added the principles of pollutant discharge reduction and recycling (see Chapter 4, 4.1, 4.2, 2011 edition 4.3, 4.4, 4.5);

d) Changed the production equipment and process requirements, adjusted the corresponding clauses, and deleted the general requirements (see Chapter 5, 2011 edition 5.1.1);

e) Changed the material-saving technical requirements (see 5.1, 5.1.2, 5.1.3, 5.1.5 of the 2011 edition);

f) Added energy-saving technical requirements (see 5.2);

g) Changed the emission reduction technical requirements (see 5.3, 5.1.4, 5.1.6 of the 2011 edition);

h) The wood utilization rate index and product index are deleted (see 5.2 and 5.3 of the 2011 edition);

i) Changed the concentration of hazardous substances in the operating environment, waste recycling, and pollutant discharge standards (see 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 2011 edition 5.4, 5.5, 5.6);

j) Changed the main measures of material saving and emission reduction (see 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4 of the 2011 edition);

k) Deleted the calculation method of absolute dry wood quantity and product quality pass rate (see 7.6, 7.7, 7.8 of the 2011 edition).

1 Scope

This document establishes the basic principles of material saving and emission reduction in particleboard production, specifies technical requirements, main measures for material saving and emission reduction, and data collection.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18259-2018 and GB/T 38743-2020 apply to this document.
