Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard is for LY/T 1515-1999 "Tree Tree Name Terminology", LY/T 1516-1999 "Tree Planting Machine Series Spectrum", LY/T 1517-1999 "Testing methods for tree planting machines", LY/T 1518-1999 "Technical conditions for tree planting machines" revision and integration, revision and After integration, the standard number LY/T 1518 is used. With LY/T 1515-1999, LY/T 1516-1999, LY/T 1517-1999, the main technical changes of LY/T 1518-1999 are as follows.
--- The revised standard name was revised to "forestry machinery trenching tree planting machine";
---Retain some of the "noun terms" in LY/T 1515-1999, and add "ditch width", "erectity", "off" the terminology and definition of ground clearance, modifying the definition of the term "planter productivity" (see Chapter 3, LY/T 1515-1999);
--- Added "modeling method" (see Chapter 4);
--- Removed the series spectrum of tree planting machines (see LY/T 1516-1999);
---Remove the "supporting power", "walking wheel" and "number of seedlings" in the technical parameters of the tree planting machine (see Chapter 4, LY/T 1518-1999 Appendix A);
--- Increased the performance requirements of the trench type tree planting machine (see 6.2);
--- Removed the surface hardness requirements for the wearable parts of the opener (see 6.3.1, 3.2.6 in LY/T 1518-1999);
--- Increased the requirements for the clamping structure of the seedlings, remove the requirements for its clamping force (see 6.3.2, 3.2.5 in LY/T 1518-1999);
--- Added the requirements for parts and components of the "overburst suppression device" (see 6.3.3);
--- Increased the "appearance requirements" of the trench-type tree planting machine (see 6.5, LY/T 1518-1999, 3.5);
--- Increased the "safety requirements" for trenching tree planting machines (see 6.6);
--- Increased the "reliability requirements" for trenching tree planting machines (see 6.7);
--- Revised the test method for the trench type tree planting machine (see Chapter 7, LY/T 1517-1999);
---Modified inspection rules and added "third party inspection" (Chapter 8, LY/T 1518-1999, Chapter 5);
--- Increased the requirements of the logo and added the "main technical parameters" to the product label content (see 9.1, LY/T 1518-6.1) in 1999;
--- Revised the packaging requirements and removed the "Serial technical documents should include a list of random consumable parts accessories" (see 9.2, 6.2 in LY/T 1518-1999;
--- Removed the "warranty" content (see Chapter 7 of LY/T 1518-1999).
This standard is proposed and managed by the National Forestry Machinery Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC61).

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
Ditch tree planting machine ditchingtreeplanter Traction machine that is pulled by the tractor can complete the belt ditching, seedling (manual), soil covering and compaction. According to the height of planting seedlings it is divided into two types. small seedling tree planting machine (plant height <=600mm) and large seedling planting machine (miao height >600mm).
Ditch depth furrowdepth the vertical distance from the bottom of the tree-planting ditch to the ground (see h in Figure 1).
Trench width furrowwidth the cross section of the tree planting groove intersects the two horizontal lines by the horizontal line of the ground to form the distance between the two points (see B in Fig. 1).
Seedlings from seedlingspacingintherows in the same seedling row, the horizontal distance between the centers of two adjacent seedlings.
Seedling spacing seedlingrowpitch the horizontal distance between the centerlines of two adjacent rows of seedlings.
