GB/T 18263 Terminology for Hot Press Machines in Wood-based Panels
3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18263 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
debarker peeling machine A type of machinery that removes bark from trees using methods such as friction, milling, or high-pressure jetting.
3.1.1
drum debarker
A bark peeling machine that uses the rotation of a drum to cause friction and impact between wood pieces and between wood pieces and the drum, thus removing the bark from trees.
3.1.2
Ring type debarker
A bark peeling machine in which logs are held and fed by rollers, and a blade ring rotor rotates at high speed around the logs to cut and remove the bark.
3.1.3
Toothed roller debarker A bark peeling machine that uses the rotation of a toothed roller shaft to drive the logs to tumble and impact in a trough to remove the bark.
3.1.4
High-pressure waterjet debarker A bark peeler that uses the impact force of high-pressure water jets or high-temperature, high-pressure steam jets to remove bark from trees.
centering machine
A type of machine that uses mechanical, optical, and other methods to determine the center line of a wood segment during rotary cutting.
3.2.1
Mechanical three-point centering machine A centering machine is used to determine the center line of the wood section rotary cutting by using three pendulum rods that intersect at 120° and are always equidistant from the center of rotation.
