JJF 2425-2026 is the Chinese national calibration specification for carbon dioxide incubators, the chambers that keep cell and tissue cultures at a controlled temperature and CO2 concentration in laboratories, hospitals and biopharmaceutical production. A culture is only as reliable as the conditions inside the chamber, so users and accreditation bodies need incubators calibrated in the same way, with traceable results. The specification sets out the metrological characteristics to be calibrated, the calibration conditions and equipment, the calibration items and methods, the expression of results and the recommended recalibration interval. Issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation on 25 June 2026, it takes effect on 25 December 2026.
