This specification uses the amount and unit specified in GB/T 3102.7.

3.1 underwater noise source A device that generates random continuous or impulsive noise underwater.

3.2 [Underwater] noise band sound pressure level [underwater] noisebandsoundpressurelevel the sound pressure level of underwater noise within a certain frequency band.

[GB/T 5265-2009, definition 3.4] Note.

1. The unit is decibel (dB).

2. The reference sound pressure is 1 µPa.

3. The frequency bandwidth is generally 1/3, 1/1 octave bandwidth, or determined according to user requirements.

3.3 [Underwater] noise band Sound pressure level [underwater] noisebandsourcesoundpressurelevel the [submerged] noise band sound pressure level within a certain frequency band, equivalent to 1m.

Note.

1. The unit is decibel (dB).
