Introduction

This specification is for the measurement of technical regulations visual electrophysiology instrument calibration making. Preparation of this specification to JJF 1071-2010 "National Calibration Specifications writing rules", JJF 1001-2011 "common measurement terms and definitions" JJF 1059.1-2012 "Evaluation and Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement" as the basis and foundation, with reference to the ISCEV (2003) "Clinical Visual electrophysiological stimulation and recording parameters Calibration Guide" (Guidelinesforcalibrationofstimulusand recordingparametersusedinclinicalelectrophysiologyofvision) regulations.

This specification is the first release.

3 terminology and units of measurement

3.1 Graphics average luminance meanluminanceofpattern the average of the graphic form of the highest brightness and the lowest brightness, unit. candela per square meter, symbol. cd/m2.

3.2 Graphics contrast patterncontrast Drawing light grid brightness and brightness contrast dark grid, expressed as a percentage.

3.3 brightness uniformity luminanceuniformity Graphics stimulator full brightness uniformity of display when expressed as a percentage.

3.4 flash intensity Instantaneous flash of brightness integrated value time unit. seconds candela per square meter, symbol. cd · s/m2.

3.5 flash duration Single flash duration, unit. milliseconds symbol. ms.

3.6 latency

Eye irritation from the received light signal to an electrical signal characteristic between the time delays, unit. milliseconds symbol. ms.

4 Overview

Visual electrophysiology instrument is one kind of electrophysiological signals measured by the human visual system after light stimuli to diagnose Instrument of visual function.

Visual electrophysiology instrument to the human eye to light stimulation signal emitted by the stimulator while collecting electrode by the human visual system Biological signals generated by the electrical signal amplification and processing after recording and display, providing for clinical visual function Medical diagnosis. Visual electrophysiology instrument by the flash stimulation, graphics stimulator, electrode, signal acquisition, data processing Operating system and the display system.

5 Metrological characteristics 5.1 flash intensity settings error no more than ± 10%.
