Scope
JGJ/T 269-2012 is the English-translated version of 轻型钢丝网架聚苯板混凝土构件应用技术规程.
JGJ/T 269-2012 is the Chinese construction industry specification for building with concrete elements reinforced with light steel mesh framed expanded polystyrene (EPS) panels - an insulating EPS core held in a three-dimensional welded wire mesh and faced with concrete or mortar to form load-bearing walls, floors and roofs. The system combines structure and thermal insulation in one element and is used mainly for low-rise housing, so designers and builders need rules for its structural design, detailing and site work. It covers the design and construction of load-bearing walls and floor and roof elements for houses of up to three storeys and up to 10 m high, in areas with seismic intensity 8 or lower. Issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on 19 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
