1 Foreword

JB/T 9764-2015 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 30 April 2015 and has been in force since 1 October 2015.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9764-1999.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard covering wrapped bushes for the small end of internal combustion engine connecting rods. It fixes the types, the markings, the names and symbols, the technical requirements, the testing methods and the inspection rules, and it carries the provisions on marking, packaging, transportation and storage. Its field of use is the thin-walled bimetallic wrapped connecting rod bush fitted in engines for tractors, locomotives, automobiles, construction machinery, marine installations and stationary plant. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 2828.1, several parts of GB/T 12613 and GB/T 27939-2011. It replaces JB/T 9764-1999, and it is filed under the Chinese classification J92.
