1 Foreword

JB/T 9654-2010 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 1 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9654-1999.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for the glass fibre curing tubes used in lead-acid batteries. It sets out the definitions and the requirements for those tubes, the methods by which they are tested, the rules for their inspection and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to the glass fibre curing tubes used in manufacturing lead-acid batteries that have tubular positive plates.
