JB/T 9487-2010 is the English-translated version of 仪表用轴尖.

JB/T 9487-2010 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for pivots used in instruments. It fixes the product types of the pivot, the requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and then the provisions on marking, packaging and storage. The pivots it applies to are those that work with a spherical bearing in the moving part of an instrument. The standard carries the Chinese classification N05 and the international classification 21.120.10, and it quotes GB/T 2828.1-2003 and GB/T 2829-2002. It replaces JB/T 9487-1999, the edition that came before it, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is named as the issuing agency.
