JB/T 9386-2017 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 12 April 2017.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9386-1999.

2 Scope

This standard is the Chinese machinery industry standard for pendulum damping testers. It sets the technical requirements for the instrument, the inspection methods and the inspection rules, and the provisions for signs, packaging, transport and storage of the finished instrument.
