JB/T 9042-2017 is the English-translated version of 选矿设备用永磁磁块.
JB/T 9042-2017 is the Chinese machinery industry standard for the permanent magnet blocks built into ore dressing equipment. It classifies the products, sets their technical requirements, and gives the test methods, inspection rules, markings and the provisions for packaging, transport and storage.
It is written for sintered ferrite blocks and sintered neodymium iron boron blocks, called magnetic blocks in the text, and other permanent magnet blocks may be taken to it for reference.
The standard is recommended and carries the Chinese classification D96 and the international classification 73.120. It quotes GB/T 191, GB/T 2828.1-2012, GB/T 3217, GB/T 6060.2 and GB/T 6388. It replaces JB/T 9042-2008.

JB/T 9042-2017 was issued by MIIT on 9 January 2017 and has been in force since 1 July 2017.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9042-1999.
2 Scope
This standard is the Chinese machinery industry standard for the permanent magnet blocks built into ore dressing equipment. It classifies the products, sets their technical requirements, and gives the test methods, inspection rules, markings and the provisions for packaging, transport and storage. It is written for sintered ferrite blocks and sintered neodymium iron boron blocks, called magnetic blocks in the text, and other permanent magnet blocks may be taken to it for reference.
