JB/T 8935-2014 is the English-translated version of 工艺流程用压缩机安全要求.

JB/T 8935-2014 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on safety for the compressors used in the process industries. It states the particular safety requirements that apply to the compressor itself and to its safety devices and protective equipment. Its scope takes in centrifugal, axial, reciprocating and rotary machines, the process compressors built from them and their ancillary equipment. The text leans on the national standards it calls up, including the GB 150 parts on pressure vessels, GB 755 and GB/T 3797, and the GB 3836 series on equipment for explosive atmospheres.
