JB/T 8923-2010 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that specifies the vibration, taken as acceleration, of rolling bearing steel balls. It covers the vibration requirements for commodity balls of diameter 3 mm to 30.162 mm whose tolerance grade is not lower than G20 and which meet the technical requirements of GB/T 308-2002, together with the measurement methods and the inspection rules. It applies to the inspection and acceptance of commodity balls for which a vibration grade is required, by the manufacturer and by the user. It replaces JB/T 8923-1999 and quotes GB/T 308-2002 and GB/T 6930-2002. It carries Chinese classification J11 and international classification 21.100.20.
