JB/T 8779-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8779-1998.
2 Scope
This standard is the Chinese machinery industry standard giving the technical requirements for cubic hinge hydraulic presses, the six-anvil machines used to produce superhard materials. It fixes the accuracy of the press, its technical requirements, the testing to be carried out and the inspection rules.
