JB/T 8612-2026 is the English-translated version of 电液伺服动静万能试验机.

JB/T 8612-2026 is a product standard for electro-hydraulic servo controlled static-dynamic universal testing machines. These are materials testing machines driven by an electro-hydraulic servo system that can carry out both static and dynamic loading tests on specimens.

It is used by testing machine manufacturers who design and build these machines, by materials laboratories, research institutes and factories that buy and operate them, and by inspectors who accept them. The standard is voluntary, as the /T in the code shows. It was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, issued on 1 June 2026 and takes effect on 1 December 2026. It replaces JB/T 8612-2015.

JB/T 8612-2026 is a recommended industry standard of the People's Republic of China in the Machinery sector, approved and issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 1 June 2026, with effect from 1 December 2026.

This edition replaces JB/T 8612-2015.

It is administered by the National Technical Committee for Testing Machines Standardization.
