JB/T 8560-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8560-1997.
2 Scope
JB/T 8560-2013 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for braided packing made of carbonized fibre and polytetrafluoroethylene. It classifies the packing according to its raw materials and sets the technical requirements, the testing, and the rules for labelling, packaging and storage. The packings within its scope are those braided from carbonized fibre yarn and polytetrafluoroethylene yarn used separately. Its Chinese classification is J22 and its international classification 21.140. It quotes JB/T 6371. The standard replaces the 1997 edition, JB/T 8560-1997.
